Week of May 13, 2012 okay, so im gonna try and answer all your questions in one email.

so, a lot of people sent me an emial today, que bueno...

first thing is first. i saw some latinos playing wow today in the computer place we go to, so i had to reminess a little, but other than that i was fine. im gonna try and not go back to playnig that very addictive game. but as for me i am good this week, i had a baptism and everything seems to be going fine. i rather did enjoy my talk with dad and mom, was good to just sit down and chat with my family for once. I have offically made the decision that i will not be returning before christmas so i will be talking to veryone again, well at least from bolivia. i decided this because the lord called me to serve for 24 monthes, not 23 so  will stick it out and give the lord all my sacrifices and remember him once more during christmas, but in the presence of people who do not speak english. well, other than that i am very happy to be entering winter here, other than it is snowing all the time with a 0 degree temperature weather, no im just kidding, when that happens in bolivia, the world will be ending. but its been 68 degrees here, with rain, so i am walking in mud, nothing else. but i love, it i was telling my companion the other day, ¨you know what this is the life, we are in the rain, soaked head to toe, and walking around trying to preach the gospel. there is nothing better in the world that we could be doing right now, and you know what? you dont see anyone else from anyone other church out here walking around trying to preach the word, and do you know why? becuase the message we carry is the truth and the only message that can bring these people back to live with their heavenly father.¨ yeah i was super happy that day. and am still super happy. just thought i would let you all know that i love you guys and will try and work my hardest to try and get some more stories before i get back to the states. well, i love you.

Week of April 8, 2012 ¿Como vai você?

¿falla portugués? ya yo tampoco, yo solamente ¨falla¨ español, sí hasta ahora he perdido todo mi ingles, soy inútil para hablar en el idioma de los gringos... nawww! chiste chiste!

well, how is everyone doing this week? I hope that you are all enjoying you easter weekend and that everything is just peachy. I got to hear from some of you (meaning two) thanks mom and dad. and just sitting here waiting to have time pass by so i can get out of here( in the internet ¨cafe¨) its more like a dark scary place where all the wierdos come out to play. So i fit in really well, but one experience that i had was funny this week, i was tlking to my noob companion, and we were talking about my ¨gringués¨ and i was talking about how everyone here in bolivia looks at me like im some type of monstrosity.

like a huge freaky gringo who has huge feet (the average foot size of bolivian men is 8-9, so, having size 13 shoes is huge for them) but my companion said that everytime they (meaning bolivians) look at me, right after at looking at my face they always look at my shoes. i had to laugh. its funny, because EVERYONE looks at me funny, i just have to enjoy the attention while im the only whitie around. i just have fun by making funny faces at everyone, or really serious faces, they always turn around when i do it, lol. well, as for me im still loving it here, time seems to be passing by quickly. i love you all and i hope to hear from you guys next week, so stay safe and remember to write me sunday. salud, amor y paz!

Week of April 1, 2012

okay, new area.

im in barrio los angeles... and i have a new companion, his name is elder gutierrez, he is from la paz, he is pretty cool, i would also like to say that i am his Dad... i know kinda wierd right? NO! not like that, im his trainer, yep that is right im training this cambio, and yep also im the district leader of my zone. which is all pretty wierd cause ive never been either of these things before and now i have a whole bunch of responsibilites. but i know that the lord will help me through them all. well, this week was pretty cool conference and all. and i have a baptism this week, which is also exciting. gotta love the blessings that we recieve for being faithful to our heavenly father. but one of my favorite talks that i liked was that of elder uchtdorf. and how he said, that if we had hate, envy, or any such things the same that we need to follow one suggestion, two words. ¨stop it¨ i loved it. i wish i could be more like him and have more of the love of christ, or at least more abundantly in my life. the conference was great, but i have a huge favor to ask of my little sister. if you could please send me a copy of the liahona in may. causa i would probably get it faster if you sent it to me than recieve it in the mail from the mission. thanks! well, other than that i was happy to recieve two packages this week from mom, thank you very much and i am very happy and content here in my new area, still looking for more people to save, but hey as long as i work hard i will eventually find somebody amirite? well, love you all and hope you all have awonderful week.
